    server 2k3 installer hangs

Anyone ever have the installer just hang in server 2k3? I am trying out the windows install, and after it asks me where to install to, it says "configuring your new software installation" and the progress bar never goes anywhere. checking the cpu utilization shows it sits at 0, while ram starts out at 16,000k, then after about an hour leaks up to around 17,000k. Any thoughts?

    windows server 2k3, sp2
    pentium D, 3.0g
    2gb ram

I've seen it hang later on in the process. Try this (may or may not help in your particular situation):

When it gets to the place where it seems to hang, click Ctrl-Alt-Del and bring up the Task Manager. Click the Processes tab. Look for both a UT3.exe process and a SetupUT3.exe process.

If both are present, click the UT3.exe process and the click the End Process button. You will get a warning about doing such things.

      Hopefully the setup will continue.

        nope, no ut3 process.

I should mention, the EULA shows up blank, and you need to click the YES button twice to proceed, is that normal?

I downloaded 2 different versions from the link in wartourist's sticky regarding the window ut3 dedicated server install, so I was pretty sure it wasn't corrupted, but....

The EULA should not show up blank. By clicking Yes you are agreeing to a couple of EULAs that of course you can't read.

What are the hardware specs for your server?

Well, that looks good. Not sure what could be the issue, unless it is some conflicting piece of software already installed on your box.
