ut3-bin gives no output - just sits
Hi,
I have read through quite a number of threads regarding the dedicated Linux server. They kind of gloss over the early steps with something like Install Linux, Download and install ut3 Linux Server, if install went ok you should be able to launch basic server with 'ut3-bin Server' and they go from there into configuration etc.
My issue is 'out of the gate' so to speak. I launch ut3-bin (version from 2/2/08 off of Fileplanet) and nothing happens. There is zero output, white space. I get the same when I launch it from an sh file as well as from the Execute Shell Command (KDE). I installed it from both root as well as a user setup just for UT3 with the same results. ut3-bin is clearly marked as executable and accessible by both the unreal user and root.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I want to do my part and do my research but I have exhausted all I know and just want a bit of direction as to where to go from here.
