Setting tickrate on a linux server

    Hello

I'm having problems getting my server to send a reasonable ammount of packets. No matter what I change the tickrate to I always get 8 packets per sec IN when playing on the server. Am I missing something?
(tickrate 2 will for instance still give 8 packets per sec to clients)

From what I understand the relevant setting is NetServerMaxTickRate in UTEngine.ini, however no matter what value I set it still sends the same 8 packets per sec. I tried setting the keepalivetime to 0 as I know that will effectively lower the tickrate on an ut(original) server unless there are some people playing on it (doing a short timeout whenever the server deems no update is necessary). That didn't help anything either. I run the server with the -nohomedir switch, and edited the inis in /ut3-dedicated/UTGame/Config/

The server works nicely otherwise, but the low tickrate really makes it sluggish and laggy to play on, any suggestions/help would be much appreciated. Only added some custom maps and ABT1.3 / advancedscoreboard0.6 / xray, and didn't really edit the UTEngine.ini in any way but set the Port to 9000 and change the tickrate values.
