I have seen it stated on some boards that you have to re-cook custom maps because of the new patch in order for them to work properly... is this true or a load of BS?

One **** load of BS, my old custom maps work fine with 1.2, and I made them when it was 1.1. -
Are you having problems with the resulting custom map profiles your curently creating? If so whats goiong on? There are a few known issues with cooking maps and random file errors.Comment

I 'm not having any issues, I just did not want to throw custom maps on the server if they were not going to work. I thought it would be pretty dumb and a PIA to have to re-cook maps if a new patch was released. I have seen a few posts stating that people had to do that as they were having trouble with redirects and clients downloading direct from server... I just wanted to find out the real story.
Looks like I'll uploading maps this weekend, YAY!
