Map vote help.

Hi just got my server up and running and can not get the map vote to work.

The server is on GameServers.com

It was working at one time then poof gone

I set it up at lest 3 times so far today and no go

I am setting it up like this bChangeLevels=True and then bAllowMapVoting=true then I add this

(GameClassName="UTCTFGame_Content",Maps=("CTF-Coret","CTF-Hydrosis","CTF-Reflection","CTF-Vertebrae","CTF-OmicronDawn","CTF-Strident"))

Any help or info would be great.

Also if I can get the map vote to work how do I add custom maps to the server ?

Try adding bAllowMapVoting=true to the [UTGame.UTCTFGame] section of UTGame.ini. Some gametypes need it in their own section.

Maps go in the Published\CookedPC\CustomMaps folder (you'd have to create it if it doesn't exist).

should look like this and it goes in the UTgame.ini file under [UTGame.UTGame] section.

GameSpecificMapCycles=(GameClassName="UTCTFGame_Co ntent",Maps=("CTF-Coret","CTF-Hydrosis","CTF-Reflection","CTF-Vertebrae","CTF-OmicronDawn","CTF-Strident"))

If there is no map list then map vote will not work.
