    servertravel command bugged?

My server loads up from command line as CTF. I switch it to DM from ingame using admin servertravel DM-Diesel?Game=UTGame.UTDeathMatch?GameMode=0.
It switches fine, however, the server still stays under CTF in the browser?

Interesting catch, first Ive heard of it. Someone would need to replicate this - I cant do it until later. Also, if you switch it, and then restart the map, does that make it report correctly? Are you using the beta patch v1.01 or the base version of your dedicated server install?

My host won't patch until it's non-beta. I let the map change normally after the game finished, and it still reported as CTF, even listing the map as DM-Arsenal.

In game it's fine, it's just in the server browser.

Same here, i noticed this behaviour a week ago in my primary testings, when i was first able to get a Dedicated Server up and running. It is pretty much replicable. Once a Server is advertised it stays in the Gametype Section of the Serverbrowser that it was first Started with, until you completely kill the Process and restart it under a different Gametype.

But as I see it this isn´t the fault of the Servertravel Command, which actually does exactly what it should be doing, but rather a Problem of the Datasynchronization between Gamespy and the Server.

After thinking about it I agree. The way the query must work is that it detects the gametype the server was started with, not the gametype that is running. Either way, it needs fixing.
