Ut3 Bets Demo Not Working in Windows XP

Hey, when i run the ut3 demo it opens up the splash screen and thats it. I went on task manager and it said that the splash screen was working but Unreal Tournament 3 Demo was not responding I really need help.The demo worked once before i formatted my computer
