Does menus fall under UI? They're horribly cartoony, and using next/back everywhere shows it's mostly catering to people with gamepads, pressing a map twice to start it then getting a confirmation dialog doesn't make sense, the menus and server browser as a whole feels unrefined, you can only see a few things at once and all actions require you to go to another page, the server browser seems to be lacking icons for modes (listen/dedicated, voice, etc). The UI and menus would work great for someone with a gamepad on a PC or a PS3, it just feels dumbed down from UT2004.
The UT2004 server list was a lot better, picked gametype from a dropdown and you picked filters, this time around you have to pick gametype and configuration each time before seeing the server list, that's devolution not evolution.

-The sfx are a bit too loud seriously, this isn't a part of the game lower it a bit.
-There is no easy way to shut off bloom or advanced bloom, this is pretty crucial it kills my eyes
-There is no way to shut off any of the advanced rendering options (I want the highest frame rate possible regardless of what my system is capable of)
- No preview of the crosshairs, no way to force particular ones for each gun
-The input section looks like bit bare by ut2004 standards. Finer adjustment of sensitivity is pretty crucial.
Although this isn't part of the UI in particular, the game in it's current state isn't generating configuration files and therefore is ALWAYS using the default ones. This is easily corrected by creating another copy and changing it from BaseGame, to just Game. This needs to be done for each

I figured this would go here since the Menu falls under User interface.
So to give feed back on the menu: It's absolutely hideous. Why do us pc gamers have to suffer with a dumbed down console style menu with almost no options for configuring whats so ever? What happened to the nice thing of actually having options like we did in 2k4? The menu in ut3 almost mandates us to go digging around for the inis immediately.

The menus feel barren in many ways, and the huge fonts doesn't help either, binding keys is frustrating when you only see a few at a time, and you can't press Esc to stop binding the key you're editing atm.Originally posted by MysTikal View PostThe settings menu lacks many, many commands such as LOD, Dynamiclights/decals, Lens flares, Fog, Weapon bob, FOV, and many, many more.
