      For anyone who suspects audio problems: The latest drivers might also have the same problems. One way you can isolate the audio driver is to temporarily turn off hardware acceleration: Go to control panel->sound->Speaker settings->advanced->performance-> and turn hardware acceleration all the way down, then apply settings and restart the demo.

        Please don't post your logs directly into the thread if you can help it, otherwise it will become unreadable. It's better if you can link to it.

          I started playing the demo on almost the lowest possible settings. The first game went fine but right before the end of the first game the demo crashed. I got back to my desktop with my resolution locked at 800*600 and 4 bit color depth. Gonna try playing again. I have had a crashing problem before with Bioshock but that was a different error. Hope this helps.

                  I disabled my X-Fi... still crashed after the intel splash video. Game wouldn't start at all with hardware acceleration set at lowest/off setting - froze up at the logo on the desktop in that case.

                    Don't think X-Fi is the problem. Same thing happens regardless to me.
                    Also, If I'm really quick in the menu, I can manage to load a game. It crashes really soon after starting it though.

                      First; Can't connect to any servers in UT3 anymore (No firewalls on, no etc...etc...)

                      And for the common problem of "Hitches" for nVidia series 6 & 7 users (im using a serie 7)... In my UTGame/Config folder there's no "UTEngine.ini" file.

                        Could you try installing that? It should have come with the demo, I'll double check.
                        No it didn't install the AMD Fix however, it works like a charm now. I also updated to the latest Nvidia drives while I was at it. Thanks for the support

                              Hello I also have huge frame problems when I use SLI mode, anyway if I use single Card it works.

                              Config:

                              intel 6850 dual core
                              2048 ram
                              2x 8800 ultra

                                snt someone pointed me in the dirrection for the sli fix, rename your utdemo exe file to bioshock.exe

                                something your nvidia profile already has good settings for.

                                i did that and the sli works perfect now
