    My problem is that, no matter which resolution i use, ive tried from 1440x900 which im suposed to use all the way down to 800x900, i get a laggy mouse pointer on the menus, and in game, i just have a ugly feast of lag, with game play...i have no ideal whats wrong, i thought i was in the middle of required, and recommended so i would be fine...but it just looks ugly. I have no prolbem playing other games like Quake Wars.

        I got it to run fine, but it seems blurry. What setting would I adjust to clear up the blurry appearance?

          I found this while searching for a fix for intel graphics.
          It is for bioshock and from the little i read, its not finished.
          However I present this because maybe somebody can understand this and figure out a fix for us. :]

            The game reminds me of the graphics of doom and Wolfenstein 3D at 640x400 on lowest detail. But the gameplay was great. It reminded me of UT99 instead of UT2004.

            I have the latest ATI drivers installed. ATI Catalyst Software Suite v7.9.
            I am still having this issue. I have installed the 7.8 drivers but still happens.

            When I set my resolution to 1440x900 then played it did not freeze immediately but when I went back to change it to 640x400 the game froze as soon as I got to the level. I didnt even have enough time to left click to start the count down to start the game. Everytime it has required a manual restart.

            At least I got to play on my school computer.

              Mine works OK. I have an issue with the mouse. I'm using a Microsoft Intellimouse Optical.

              UT2004 treated the mouse's side buttons (left and right) as different mouse buttons. E.g.:

              Mouse5=StrafeRight
              Mouse4=StrafeLeft
              (Yes, I use my side mouse buttons for strafe left and right, as I cannot use WASD. Anyway...)

              UT3 is treating both the left and right side mouse buttons as "mouse4". It is kind of inconvenient to be always strafing left (or right), and darned near impossible to control vehicles.

                  My config is
                  T=forward, G=Back, Lmouse=Strafeleft, Rmouse=Straferight
                  I learned FPS on UT99 and doubleclick(DODGE) seemed like a natural mouse function.
                  I WANNA PLAY SOOOOOOOOO BAD!

                    No HD2900xt 1Gig Support?

                    I was lookin through the ini files and in the BaseCompat.ini i was lookin around and there is NO support for the HD 2900XT 1Gig. And for all you people doubting that there is no such thing go to google and type in diamond multimedia videocards and you will see.

                      Can't get demo to start. Installs fine, then when I try to start it up, I get the boot splash screen and thats it. Doesn't do anything afterwards, have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to close it.

                          I have the same problem, it seems a bunch of other people do too since they quoted my post in the other thread

                                I too have this problem. Very annoying. Installed fine - but then when I go to load them game, it hangs. No error message at all. The window just says "Unreal Tournament 3 Demo (Not Responding)"
