    I'm not sure if this is the correct thread for this, but here goes. I have a Logitech MX510 or 518 (don't remember which exactly) and am unable to bind both thumb buttons. The game recognizes them as both being Mouse 4.

        Dual amd athlon here, ati 1950 pro video card. After a a while (seems to vary) the 3d graphics get all garbled.

        cat control center is reporting only 75 degrees or so, up from 68 without running the game.

          Alright, I've followed the instructions in another thread and the problems (crashes) I detailed below are apparently the result of AVG conflicts, which can be fixed with an .ini tweak. Read more: http://utforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=579309 <-there.

          I believe these are hardware compatibility issues:

          1) In the past 4 hours I've been playing/using the game I've played for about 20 minutes. On those 2 occasions I was able to load up a map (instant action) almost 10 minutes into the game it would freeze, requiring reboot.

          2) The game would crash to nothing (my monitor(s) couldnt find a signal) when:
          --a) waiting in the 'Loading' Screen
          --b) having just flicked through the startup vids (Epic Games, Midway, Unreal Technology, nVidia, Intel, etc)
          --c) when changing resolution

          My System Specs - taken from dxdiag
          OS: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) - yes, I do have SP2
          GPU: Geforce 7600GT 256MB
          GPU Driver: 6.14.0011.6371
          Displays: Samsung 19" 913B LCD, Samsung 22" 226BW LCD
          Display Resolutions tested: 1680x1050, 1152x876 (?)
          CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Socket 939
          Memory: 2x Corsair 512MB DDR 400
          Soundcard: Creative Audigy 2 ZS

            this game demo has severe issues

            system profile:

            pc power and cooling 750
            ati 1950 pro
            dfi lanparty expert
            opteron 185
            corsair pc 4400 2x1 gig + a 4 gig swap file just for GP
            xp pro sp2
            4x raptor raid is raid zero stripe and yes i use paragon diskmanager to create a realtime 24/7 disaster recovery bootable dvd image of my c partition.


            I have like 25 games on it and they all run like clock work.
            Crysis mp beta
            fear
            wow
            infernal
            nsf carbon
            list goes on and on

            this game fails to load

            Don't ask me about newest drivers I have them all updates, yes all.

            right after the intel logo screen it fails back tot he desktop with this error:

            Faulting application ut3demo.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.1.2600.3119, fault address 0x00012a5b.

            Im betting theres a pill for this Epic ..... it's called a asprin for that giant headache you just caused all these gammers.

                I can't get the game to run, once it goes to Full screen I get the windows error.

                The error refers to 2 missing shader files?

                    Low settings above min specs aren't nice to look at, at all I thought my computer was crashing but that's just thee way it is, perhaps a bit more eye candy for people at low specs :>

                            People with ATI cards download latest driver (7.10) if your game crashes after logos. I had it crashed then after 7.10 it launched fine.

                              Issue:
                              No matter what detail/ texture level or resolution I choose I get random low fps. I max at 60 due the smooth settings, but I dip into the 20s randomly at some points in all 3 maps. All detail/ texture levels and resolutions perform identically.

                              Failed fixes:
                              New drivers for the video card and sound card did not help. Disabling EAX did not help.

                              EDIT: Disabling audio all together doesn't help either.

                                I can't see the game menu at all, all I can see is a black and white video of a UT3 map ( I think that is what it is ), playing in the background. Here is a screenshot of it
