    Arrays and defaults

    Hi,
    Is there any way to make position [0] in an array not avilable to the mapper ?
    thanks.

    Could you elaborate a little? What exactly are you trying to do?

      The only way would be to have two arrays, one the mapper can set, then one that you append the mapper array to with element 0 already set

        ahh...thats how i've been doing it up til now.
        Sort of. Ive been making two arrays and just reading one into the other starting the second at position[1].This append sounds easyer. I'll look into it.
        I supose i could make a local dynamic array in prebeginplay read all the values into that and then back into the original one missing out position[0].
        With dynamic arrays how do you declare an array with a class limiter?
        ie;-

        var() Class<Emitter> myEmitter[5];

        into a dynamic array?

        thanks

          var() array < Class<Emitter> > myEmitter;

          By the way, if you don't space array definitions like the above right with classes (or anything else that uses angle brackets), it gets fussy when you try to compile, so watch that.
