      Vehicles are simple once you get the 'jist' on how to use them, cept when you want something new, as in my Stunt Grenading Scorp haha.
      I caughton to codding 'Very' Quickly, but only because i have been codding on REALbasic for a few years, so i started basic coddin around 10, haha i think, i got no clue.

        thanks for your replies.

        one important question i forgot to ask was what do i need to make a new Vehicle e.g. programs.

          Basic: UnrealScript editor. Notepad is sufficient, but I'd recommend a program like WOTGreal.

          Advanced: 3DMax/Maya/Whatever to model and rig a custom one, Photoshop/Whatever to make the texture.

              I would (maybe strongly) suggest you dont, its very ANOYING because the codder doesnt show default properties and you cannon edit to the full potential that you could. I would strongly suggest you use WOTgreal, you can get it in one of the top Threads( Mod Resources: UDE)

                  If you were making your own vehicle with new code and everything, would you have to subclass the vehicle?

                  class ONSRV extends ONSWheeledCraft;

                  or

                  class MyOwnVehicle extends MyOwnMadeUpWheeledCraft;

                    it depends wheather you are making a new class or just a vehicle that has the basic functions of another vehicle.

                    if you are making a new vehicle class then you need to tell it to perant from the ONS vehicle factory and then you must write the functions/defult propertys .....and so on, otherwise yes you must perant it from a already scripted vehicle.

                    hope this helps and good luck.

                        If you're making a new vehicle, it's highly suggested that you subclass from one of the basic vehicle types provided by the Onslaught package: ONSTreadcraft, ONSHoverCraft, ONSWheeledCraft or ONSChopperCraft. All of these hook into some native engine stuff that you can't really reproduce with scripting.

                          ONS vehicle factory is the name of the factory used as a subclass to sporn your new vehicle.

                            Yes, also there is a ONSPlaneCraft but it is Very buggy, I.E. Try Controlling a Dragon Fly(summon onslaughtfull.onsbomber) Epic seemed to have trouble with this one.
