    SomE HelP making The MONSters SMART!

    Hi everyone!

    Im a pretty green coder, but for my mod (an invasion spinoff) i need to have the monsters act a hell of a lot smarter than they do reguarly. For example, they just seem to bump around the level and only if i am in their line of site will they bother to approach or attack me, otherwise they just wander aimlessly. (I have subclassed the MonsterController to this end but dont know what to code beyond that)

    I need them to somehow always KNOW where i am and come for me..see thru walls etc.

    Also, is there a way to specify like WHERE the invasion monsters spawn in a map?

    Cuz rite now they spawn at the playerstart and it's real annoying.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Normal bots already do this, but not very well, you could expand on that if you really want. It has something to do with the enemy list and squadAI keeping tabs on your location.

    Also, is there a way to specify like WHERE the invasion monsters spawn in a map?
    No, but I can show you how with a mutator.

        Check your PM, I have sent you my random monster spawner.
        If you use it, just keep my details in the mutator.
