Opening straight into a map from a shortcut

I'm sure I've seen this done before but I can't remember how to do it. I want to open the game straight into a specific map using a specific gametype from a desktop shortcut (or a batch file will do). Anyone know how it's done? It saves me time so I don't have to keep doing an open command in the console.

have it set to your ut2004.exe file, and then a space, followed by Game=xGame.xDeathmatch (or what ever game type you want to run.)

everything else will run default. what gametype do you want to run?

It's my own gametype. How do I specify what map to run?

        f:\ut2004\system\ut2004.exe ONS-Map?Game=Onslaught.ONSOnslaughtGame

If the map is for that gametype only, simply make a shortcut to the map file itself.

Several map types support multiple gametypes. For example, DM maps support DM, TDM and LMS. Most community-made maps boot up in DM mode, but some boot up in LMS mode. I'm no mapper, but I guess this has to do with a map-specific setting.

You can also add ?NumBots=9 to the end of it to specify the number of bots.

Here's a complete list of the command line options:
