I'd like to have floor sections that appear to light up (without actually using dynamic lighting) when you walk on them. I plan to do this by having 128x128 or 64x64 tile meshes that change textures when you walk on one.
I'm more of a level designer, and even then I don't know about much of the features such as triggers. But it seems that doing it with triggers would be a long and tedious procedure if I have a few dozen of these tiles around the map. Is there a way to create a custom actor to do this?
