The UnrealEd package (that includes the compiler) has not been ported to Linux\Mac, and it never will be for UnrealEngine1 or 2 (different story for UnrealEngine3).
To compile\make things in Linux you will have to use wine.

Atleast tell me that i would be able to compile the uc files under windows and then move the U files to a linux build ... please!
Its very hard to do stuff on windows machines at uni for the simple fact that WE DOTN HAVE ANY

Hsoolien repliedQuite simply all editing aspects of the Unreal Engine (Including script compilation) is only found in the Win32 install of the engine. I think most of the commmandlets have been stripped form the Linux version of UCC

Hi
Im just trying to run ucc make on al linux machine,
im running it like this:
./ucc-bin make
It complains that the make commandlet is not found
Any idea what could be causing this?
Btw, im running this on the demo version ...
