make commandlet missing ?

Hi

Im just trying to run ucc make on al linux machine,

im running it like this:

./ucc-bin make

It complains that the make commandlet is not found

Any idea what could be causing this?

Btw, im running this on the demo version ...

Quite simply all editing aspects of the Unreal Engine (Including script compilation) is only found in the Win32 install of the engine. I think most of the commmandlets have been stripped form the Linux version of UCC

I have a retail version of the game

i just found out that theres a linux build on that as well... would the editing features from that version be stripped as well?

It does not matter if you hve the retail, all the editing commandlets and apps are for Win32 only sorry...

Atleast tell me that i would be able to compile the uc files under windows and then move the U files to a linux build ... please!

Its very hard to do stuff on windows machines at uni for the simple fact that WE DOTN HAVE ANY

Any .u compiled under windows is 100% linux and mac compitable

The UnrealEd package (that includes the compiler) has not been ported to Linux\Mac, and it never will be for UnrealEngine1 or 2 (different story for UnrealEngine3).

To compile\make things in Linux you will have to use wine.
