    changing the distance rendering problem

    im trying to create a mod that has planets visible all over the map but not the ships and stuff, i've been looking at the code for zoneinfo and levelinfo but no luck, i've managed to dig up the var culldistance but it does the opposite of what im trying to do :weird:

    can anyone help me on this?

    Are the distances you're using and the sizes etc. all astronomically large?

    I'm just thinking that if they are you could just scale everything in the game down to mini-size, in case the engine has some finite distance it likes to render to.

      they are around drawscale=25.00000
      mapsize 409600 square
      im thinking that shrinking the size of the planets and the ship is my only answer
      oh well ill try that out
