    Helicopter controls

    I'm looking to make a helicopter for UT2004 and I'm having trouble understanding how to change the controls of the vehicle. I've been looking through UDN's helicopter tutorial, the code for the Raptor, as well as's Apache, and I just can't figure out how to get the pitch, roll, yaw, etc. to behave the way I want them to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    how do you want it to behave? i can mod my script but then you will have to fig out how to add yaw.


      2 Types of controls:

      1. Simple:
      W = forward
      S = Back
      A = turn left
      D = turn right
      SPACE = up
      Shift (crouch) = down
      Mouse = pitches up down, rolls left right. (But is limited to 45*)

      This will auto correct after a few seconds and auto hover (however momentum will apply)

      This style is on by default, and makes it easier for newcomers to the game to control the obviously complicated helicopters.

      2. Complex:
      This will feature the same controls as the simple controls, however the auto correct, and auto hover will be disabled. As will the 45* limit. This control scheme will be more maneuverable but also harder to control

      This control scheme will be toggle able in the options menu.
      That's what we're trying to do.
