Problem with gametype and server browser...

    Yep, I was trying to help with this as we'd had this same issue previously with our Mod... but we ended up redoing the whole Server Browser just to alleviate any potential issues, as well do gametype filtering to make sure certain gametypes dont get listed.

    It seems to be a problem with the Querying portion which could be Master Server issue or Code issue, but have been unable to really track that

    This is what happens. You start the game with the -mod= commandline, go to the server browser, click internet, then the servers start listing. The problem is the servers listed are onslaught servers and a few assault servers. I managed to correct the problem by having 2 gametypes. With 2 gametypes it still has the same problem til you switch to the second gametype. I tried making one of the gametypes not show in the list and that worked until I did a reinstall, then it started having the same problem again.

    Not sure what you mean by "maps not showing up in server browser" ... Are you saying that your server appears in the server browser, but that the map isn't displayed? Can you please describe *exactly* what is going wrong.

  • Problem with gametype and server browser...

    Im having a weird problem with my total conversion. Everything seems to work fine except for the maps not showing up properly in the server browser. I only see a bunch of onslaught maps and a couple AS maps. In the dropdown list is my gametype only. Ive tried selecting it a couple times but it doesnt help. The only way I can see the server in the list properly is by adding it to my favorites, but it only shows in favorites. Has anyone had this problem before? Here's my defaultproperties if anyone sees something wrong. Been driving me nuts. Theres not much else to the gametype besides some bot functions and some restartplayer modifications. Its extending from xTeamGame btw... any help would be greatly apreciated.
