Is it possible to run a local mutator?

Simple question, is it possible to run local mutators when playing online?

For instance, can you keep a personal log of your games (to be parsed with utDB), or maybe rearrange / change the HUD? (It would be nice if you could have a small clock showing the real-world time somewhere

Haha, no, you can't. Timers and other add-ons like that would probably be considered cheating by most, though I know plenty who disagree. Still, a client should only be running code the server tells it to.

No you can't run local mutators, since that way you could change your whole aiming etc.

Server tells you what to run - and IMO that's good that way

I agree, to some extent, and was expecting that this was the case, but it would be nice if you could use a restricted set of commands in a local "mutator", if, for instance, you would like to change the layout of the HUD (like I would like to)

I can't see that this could be considered cheating, but, if it isn't possible, then it isn't possible
