  • want to make a mirror on screen, so you can see what is behind you :) help needed!

    hi there

the topic says it, i want to make a mirror place in the screen, that you can see what is at the back of you(your playermodel)

but i dont know how to code i just start thinking about it, if its possible:

place a camera or what on your head(invisible one) then rotate it 180 degrees, so it can view the back, but how to script/code that?
and then that is will display on the screen

can someone give me coding tutorials, not for weapons plz, i cant use that for this(i think)

    plz help me

    bye

do a search on the Wiki or this forum for DrawPortal()

That should work well for a mirror.

hi there, thnx for your replies,

i dont know if i can use it but i will give it a try:

in the deathball mod, there is in db-cube a panel with a camera on the ball, it displays where the ball is.....

        can i use this?

if someone has deathball: plz play db-cube online and look what i mean....

I need to make a Mirror also and the only way i've seen so far is the DrawPortal. I wish you could make a texture which would act as a mirror.

            Look into
            Deathball.DB_CameraTextureClient
