    Looking for a coder for a small Karma project.

    Hi, i'm looking for a coder for a small Karma project that will be entered into the best use of Karma category of MSUC. The project is to produce realistic destructive scenery using karma physics. An example would be the shattering wood in halflife 2, and thats one of the things we will try to reacreate in UT2K3 along with many many other destructable objects. The main thing i need from a coder is a new actor, maybe 2. The one needed mostly needs to be able to be placed in a level and linked to a skeletal mesh that is added to the level as a Karma actor. The new actor needs to detect the bones on the skeletal mesh and list them in its properties as expandable menus where you can apply settings for each bone. The settings will be something like Hitlocation=true/false---if this is set to true a new menu will open again listing all the bones on the skeletal mesh. In this list of bones you will be able to set them to spawn new meshes at certain joints when the origional bone is shot. So say you have a plank of wood, it will be rigged with 5 bones. As an example you could set the center bone as a hitlocation, and tell it to spawn a new karma mesh at the top and bottom bones. These 2 new karma meshes would be the origional plank, but split into 2 and seperated. So when they spawn and the origional plank is deleted it will give a realistic effect of the wood being broken when its shot. Also, the impact velocity will need to be transferred to the new meshes, probably to the closest bone. Other things that need to be coded are sound effects to karma objects, such as bullet impacts, ground impacts, water zone entrys, and scraping sounds if the actor is being pushed. A karma collision hull that follows the player around at all times so the player can actually interact with scenery by pushing it around. Thats about it.
