    Config ini question

    im playing around with unrealscript and i just cant find a straight answer on this.

    i made a trigger for unrealed. in the trigger, i set the script up to config(whatever) to create an ini file called whatever.ini.

    the user is to enter text into a string in the trigger dialog in unrealed. and when the trigger is touched it sends that text to the ini.

    example
    var() config string TheText;

    for example

    whatever.ini
    [Blah.BlahTrigger]
    TheText=I put text here.

    now, in unrealscript... how would i go about taking that text(variable TheText) and using in code to do things with it? any help in pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

    I'm not sure if uscript has an execute string type function because it is a compiled language.

    You could however write your own little parser and parse the string in the ini file to execute console commands and any other functions you would like to call.
