    custom gametypes

    My gametype does not show up in the gametypes menu when started with the -mod command line, but does show up if I put the .u file in the ut2004/system directory. It's getting quite annoying to have to open maps via the commandline >.< What do I need to do to get it to show up?

    Just in case it helps, here's my mod's default.ini located in the ut2004\Wanderlust\System\ directory:

    Edit: patched UT2004 to the latest version and recompiled, still no good.

    Edit: Thanks to some advice from Angelmapper I was able to get the ucl file generated but still not getting the mod to show up in the gametypes list.

    Edit: Again at Angelmapper's suggestion I replaced a menu item with a shortcut to my gametype:

    I'm not getting compile errors but it still doesn't effect the game at all.

    OMG I was missing MainMenuClass in my ini to get it working >.< and now it works perfectly! Thanks everyone that helped, and a big special thanks to AngelMapper for finally finding a way to get it going! (and for being so patient with my noobery)
