    Projectile importing?

    Hi guys,

    Is there a guide on how to import and setup a weapon projectile for a custom weapon anywhere that I can use, I've used AngelMappers tutorial, which is really quite good, but I'm not too sure on how exactly to get the projectile model from Maya into Ut2k4 and what variables need changing within Angel's tutorial code so that it appears and functions correctly in game?

    If anyone would be as kind as to help I'd really appreciate it, Thanks!

    You would just export the model as .ase (in Maya I think you have to use ActorX to do that), then import it into either the static mesh browser in UEd, or through code like this, in your projectile class:

    #exec new StaticMesh File="models\MyMeshFile.Ase" Name="MyMesh" // This line goes right after the class declaration line

    Then put it in the default properties of your projectile class like this:

    StaticMesh=StaticMesh'MyPackage.MyMesh'
