    Mods with dynamic accuracy crosshair?

    Does anyone know of any UT2004 mods with a dynamic crosshair that expands/contracts based on accuracy?

    Preferrably one that expands when you stand, jump, run, and while you're firing, etc., then contracts when you hold still or crouch, or stop firing... like in a lot of modern games.

    Any mods like that?

    I don't know of any, but it shouldn't be too hard to do....The Missile lancher on my Air Defense Truck has crosshairs that change according to lockon status. I would think that, at a very minimum one could take that approach, and just whenever the spread of that weapon changes, change the crosshair accordingly. Just a though....

      Hmm, ok, thanks.

      I'm going for the Deus Ex / Counter-Strike crosshair that smoothly expands and contracts, so I may look at it if my coders need help.

      I just posted this thread to make it easier for one of my coders to make such an accuracy system. He's not having any problems, but all things are easier with reference.

      (but still, if anyone knows of any mods like this, please do tell)

        Hell we can eve make it the weapon itself more/less accurate based on movement, not hard..., not hard at all

          Not hard to do, and scaling the crosshair based on movement is just as easy, and can even use the same code/variables.
