UDE trouble Plz Answer!

I have been having trouble with UDE 3005. When I click on it, nothing happens. Y?

Im not sure, but maybe try re-installing it (after uninstalling it first), and make sure you're using Windows XP.

Other than that, I dunno. If you're using XP, you could possibly try running it in compatibility mode with another version of windows, by right-click it and going to Properties>Compatibility tab, then choosing to run it under another operating system's drivers.

I found the UDE to be buggy and ****. I use WOTgreal, as it is basicaly an updated, more feature rich UDE.

yea i use WOTgreal it has bug fixes and stuff unlike UDE but i never fixed my problem with the exporter.. (Adv)

Well since UDE is a liscenced version of 3.something for Wotgreal, yeah the more recent verisons of Wotgreal do have more features....


Never had any serious bugs myself (sometimes ini files don't close when I close them, and then I can't access their tab at all, but I don't call that a serious bug)


Besides if your only using it for UT2004 it's more then enough...

one thing i have found when using wotgreal or ude is the advanced package exporter and the ...er other package exporter in the tools menu. I can never get both to work.

Yea, the exporter is suprisingly buggy... It works for me, but the list is short, and new packages I create/add dont get put in, so I have to extract them with ucc.
