    I have stopped using that method, I much prefer a ring that sits in the skybox with the panoramic texture applied to it. Mine are all actual panoramas taken with a digital camera and joined together to create one seamless image.

    Cubic panoramic skybox

    As part of a university project using Unreal2runtime, I'm interested in creating some panoramic maps that emulate Quicktime VR as much as possible.

    I've noticed a few of the official UT2004 maps (such as BR-Colossus) use skyboxes that are basically just a cube, but the textures are created so when viewed from a specific angle (the loction of the skyzoneinfo) you get a nice, seamless panoramic effect.
    Is there any software designed for creating this? How did the official mappers create the textures?

    Any help appreciated
