    maya bone

    i created a truck, i want to put it in game, but ive read it needs to be boned to turn it into a mesh. and then change the manta's code (truck is a hover truck). can someone tell me what to do. or give me links to tutorials, preferable video tutorials

    Try also searching UDN, I think there are some examples -how to- and -what to-.

    With boning all you're doing is creating joints (how a vehicle or a character will bend) and pivots (the first bone) - if you have a wrong bone in the code the vehicle will not run, or if it will, the pivot will be centered somewhere in the world (now a very good idea).

      donw now how do i get my boned model in game.

        1. Make sure you have Unreal Ed open and you have necessary plugins (pic below).
        2. Select your skeleton, hold shift, select your model.
        3. Now, go to -



        4. Export it. It should show up in the default animations.
