    Color artifacts

there wouldn't happen to be ways of reducing the random splotches of color would there? I mean there's only 1 light in that area but it just likes to add green and red for some reason :bulb: I've tried increasing/decreasing the lightmap values and the higher values (128/256) certainly get rid of them...but of course shadows and such look like ****...

A possible solution is to build with RGB8 rather than DXT1, I've found it improves lighting of plainly-textured areas.

I don't know if RGB8 carries any penalties though (performance?)

RGB decompresses in VRAM. Making it a huge strain on your videocard if your map is too big.
Just move the lights up and down, or in/decrease some values a little. You could get rid of it with simply messing a bit with these values without any notacable difference.

Maybe it's because the SMesh is casting a shadow?

In that case, set bSchadowcast to false, and use a special light to light that light fixture.

(That's the most Light i've ever used in one sentence)
