    Karma trenchcoats?

    I was looking into modeling and was wondering, is it possible to have something like a trenchcoat that reacts with Karma physics? Like when you start to run it would flail behind you and stuff like that. If it is possible, could someone please help me figure it out?

      Not with Karma. I don;t think it supports fabrics.

        karma dosent support fabrics at all, the closest thing u could get is a sheet full of bones, but thats horribly inefficient and wouldnt work well.

        Most ive seen do it with animation, just like the bouncing longish hair/head extension on some unreal characters, its just part of the animation.

        You could also make it a seperate vertex mesh object attached through code to your character, since vertex meshes would work easier for a smooth waving animation, though these would still be preset anims.
