Using cones in the Editor screws up my map

I don't know why but whenever I place a cone in my level with four points and Build All it's makes invisable boundrys and disables all my lighting. Does that happen to anyone else?

Can you provide a screenshot? Noone knows what causes your problem withour a sreenshot.

I think I narrowed it down to where it only happens when I duplicate objects or delete geometry I added such as stairs.

stupid question: did you rebuild your bsp? sometimes it only temporary disappears. When you rebuild it comes back.
