    UV mapping in max problem

    well I'm creating a mesh in max...the mesh is fine but the uv mapping is kinda getting to me...I'm trying to rotate the texture but doing that messes up the mapping...here's a pic: http://www.pointless.binaryoverlord.com/helpme.jpg
    I just want to rotate the texture by 90 degrees so the trim in the texture would be on the bottom of the edge...but obviously I'm having trouble with that...

    any suggestions?

    Apply an Editmesh to the selected polys and then a UVWUnwrap modifier then open the UVW edit window & either flip the polys vertically or rotate them 180 degrees.

    Id post a tut on UVW mapping but im not at home & dont have the link handy. If you still want the link let me know & i'll sort it when I get home.

        thanks that works great...it's now fully textured in imported
