    how do I make a fan spin constantly, and kill you when you get hit by it?

    initialstate->rotatingmover
    movement->bFixedRotationDir=true
    movement->rotationrate= (set the prefered rotationrate to a high value, for example 5000)

    now there's your spinning fan :up:

    you'll have to place a physicsvolume to make it hurt someone.
    physicsvolume->bpaincausing=true
    physicsvolume->damagepersecond=666
    physicsvolume->damagetype=DamTypePancake ( :up: )

    if you want the fan and the volume to move around, you'll need to attach them to another mover, but thats another issue not covered by this post

      I'm pretty sure there's a much simpler way of making the rotating mover crush the player if you set the following property:

      Mover -> MoverEncroachType to 'ME_CrushWhenEncroach'

      That should kill the player outright when they touch the rotating mover.

            helicopter blades are part of the skin that is rotated by a bone, but at least with the manta, the blades are textures!!!!! that just kinda spin around.

                well then they couldnt be!, unless, you made some kinda pain bolume around em when on, and just had the texture a-spinning.
