    Poly Count Question

    What is an good poly count/Tri count for the following
    AN Invasion Model and A vehicle model?

    Its not really importans to have a lot polygons in your model.
    But its easear make a lot of polygons than make a perfect and a hard texture...
    I would make better more polygons, looks realistic...
    Actually its doesnt matter how much polygons you have, i think so.

      sum large number i think its 2000-4/6000

        well, the "out of the box" invasion monsters are very choppy, check em out in the mesh browser, for vehicles, the heavier is the hellbender, i guess it has around 7000 polis, triangulated.

            For vehicels, I would stay below 7000, as that is a good poly number for a large vehicle that needs it. Around 3000-4000 is good for most vehicles, cause you also have to take into account the player models and the turrets (unless you make your own turrets)

            For players, I would think the polys should be somewhat around the same figures, but I am not sure with them, as I work mainly with vehicles...

              Players are around 2000-3000 triangles. Aim for around 2500 and you'll be alright.

                3500 is fine for players, 2500 is a little low by this game's standards.

                  Check out the "Shane" head in Static meshes/MiscStaticMeshes!

                  I think that head is around 23000 triangles. Wierd looking dude I must say!
