    Mapper Help

    I made a map but i have a problem: all static meshes shadows are completly square. I cant show pictures but this map have the same problem:

    I want a normal shadow... Please help me.

    If you want normal shadows of the trees you have to turn off the shadowcast of the staticmeshes and use projectors instead, check Dm-Antalus.

    I downloaded your map and it's not playable - without bots I've got about 20-40 fps in 50% of the map. I recommend you to remake the terrain and use size 128*128 instead of 256*256.

      I saw a map: Download Here : That only uses sunlight and no projectors and the shadows are more circular.

          Oh sorry, thought it was your map.

          I checked the other map dm-ancientworld and yes I can see it has a little bit more softer shadow than dm-forestfrenzy. I tried in dm-forestfrenzy setting the same lighting in sunlight and zoneinfo and also same size of the terrain, but the trees still got a sharp and square shadow.:weird:
          I have no clue what this depends on...

          Maybe there are something about lightmap on the textures on the terrain.
