Converting pk3 to ut

i want to convert a map file that is in pk3 format to be able to play it in ut2k4. is it a difficult process to do this? if not how do i do it... i want to convert some maps i like from other games to play in ut2k4 and not exactly sure on the conversion process. or if anyone knows a website that explains this it would be awesome... thanks for any help

It's probably quite a process....as the engines are completely different.

I will say, however, it's quite satisfying creating maps like that from "scratch"! :up:

Actually, you would really have to convert it by hand, due to the fact quake3's engine works in added space, where ut works in subtractive. completely different setups for the engine.

actually i found this sitting at work and hopefully it will work for ut2k4

well i tried it and it dont work.... off to figuring out another plan... maybe have to build it all from scratch
