    Help: Umodel Exporter

I'm currently following tidel's tutorial on rigging models for UT2004,

I'm trying to export the HumanMaleA skeleton from the game to use. The umodel works fine with exporting, but I'm getting no folder from it.

    Help!

I don't think that'll work. I'm trying to export the HumanMaleA skeleton from UT2004. It exports fine, but I'm not getting a folder...

I use these skeletons since... 2005 I guess and they work perfectly fine. However, if you really want to do it this way, why not ask gildor himself on his forums?

@ Aberiu: those files (*.MAX) can't be imported into Milkshape3D, that is why they won't work for his purposes. However, if you were able to export some "dummy" model from 3DSMax (hint hint ) linked to those skeletons as .psk files and upload the .psk files, Archangel470 should be able to import them in MS3D and use them for his models. (by the way, nice character model work!)

@ Archangel470: I seem to remember having some trouble with the folders too when I was trying to get the first person hand skeleton out of UT3. I think UModel places the exported files into whatever was the latest "working folder" was, which may include the folder where the file you are exporting from is located. I'd recommend searching the folder for any changed files, or any files ending in the ".pskx" suffix. Note: the last version of UModel that I used screwed up the joint rotations of exported skeletons so that they could not be used when reimporting back in UT2k4/UT3.
