Weather Effects

I hope I am posting this in the right section if not I am very sorry.

I searched Google but with no luck at finding a Tutorial on how to make Weather Effects in maps Example: (Rain or Snow) does anyone have any Tutorials on how to add Rain or Snow to Maps?
All I could find on Google where UT3 Weather Tutorials but I need UT2004 Tutorials.

Welcome aboard and don't worry, this is the right section.

I posted an answer to your question at Old Unreal, if you have further questions, just ask.

If someone has a tutorial for you (I couldn't find any either and had to read through a bunch of topics), it would be probably better as it can (and should) explain everything to you with pictures and step by step.

Also, there was a mod called "DWeather" which included some nice weather effects like hail (that actually falls to the ground and stays there for a moment) and so forth.
Perhaps it is explained how to add them in the readme of that file and perhaps you can see from that how to add other effects?
