Yes, if you're looking for a web-based tutorial... I would definitly begin with Architectonic.

Dont forget Architectonic its probably the best web based 'First Level' tutorial site out there.

mainly text-based tutes of many levels (pun intended) written by the community at large can be found at:
    http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/wiki/Home_Page

the Wiki can be a bit daunting at first, but browse around a while 'til you get the gist of how it's constructed, then dive into it. keep in mind, though, that it's a constant WIP, so it's not an exhaustive resource, and there may be a few info gaps here and there.

i think Angel_Mapper has some raw beginner's tutes as well, and i don't think they're bandwidth intensive. try her site:

the best tutorials are the video ones that 3D Buzz did. I believe they are linked up above in the sticky threads.

Unrealed, im new at this game???

Hi all, im new to this forum but have been gaming in FPS for many years, however i recently acquired unrealED with the unreal 2 UT2003 double pac here in the UK.

However i have never used an editor before but wish to do so, i am asking if anybody could tell me where to get text based tutorials on how to build a basic level without becoming too technical that i will get very confused and not try.

I have some programming experience although very limited and i do know about online video tutorials which do this but i have 56K modem so that would take forever.

Any help would be very much appreciated
Working...
