Looking for some free sound effects.

I'm looking for some free high quality sound effects. Stuff like impacts, weapon fire, weapon impacts, water splashes, footsteps and other general sound effects. If anyone knows a site with some good quality ones let me know. Thanx!

          Prolly this will do it
          http://www.maz-sound.com/index.php?show=product&id=2

It's capable of using most of the popular synthesizer sound packs out there including ... WAV, AIF, LM4, SF2, AKAI, HALion, Gig and more!

Of course you will need something like this hooked up to PC

The problem is that you need samples before hand with that. It would be extremely difficult to use that specific software to record or synthesise effects. SoundForge can do a better job than that.

This is the bomb baby! ....arm yourself with that and get Acid Pro......and of course SoundForge

It will handle the most expensive synthesizer sounds today and of course you own voice. Decrease/Increase the octaves, parameters and you'll have instant changes without just relying on SoundForge.

Use Acid Pro to mix in all your licks and samples and create complete tracks for your levels........

You see, that is for making music, not synthesising effects or recording them. I know it's great for creating songs.
