    triggering sound (solved, thnx to Gusher....)

    hi guys

    i need your help: how to let a sound play when you walk on a object?

    i know you can do it with sound triggers, and scripted triggers, but how?

    i searched: on this forum, udn, leveldesigners.com, beyond unreal and planet unreal, but nothing :cry:

      ok thnx for that.

      but 1 problem:

      the sound trigger works, when you walk over the trigger. but when i start the map, the sound is playing already, before i spawn, and it doesnt stop...

      can someoen make an example map for me.....
      or change this map so that it works:
      download the map here

        There's another way you can do it........


        Make a small mover with a trigger and use it as a sound trigger......

        The mover will need an alpha texture to make it invisible.....just configure the mover sounds and you now have a simple working sound trigger.

            Here, study this ........it's a small map with a ready made sound trigger using the method I described above.....you can see the mover by going into wireframe mode. Change the mover sound properties to any sound you like.......the trigger is on top of the gold plate.

                    Hey no problem, would have to also give thanks to KillBait for assisting me with the scripted trigger but that didn't work on my system and from there I brainstormed and came up with this simple method of using an invisible mover to trigger sounds......
