"No Rain" zone using rain emitters

    Hi guys/gals

I'm using the standard xrain emitter from the actor classes and tinkered about with it a bit, through can i get the emitter to work with the "no rain" zone like the weather effect, through for some reason i couldn't get the weather effect to work.

BTW- I heard dm-de-grendelkeep used a xweather effect, i checked this and its uses a emitter.

Also can someone tell me how to name zones?I can't remember how to do it:bulb: :bulb: Is it just a normal volume and then name the location?

    Cheers

    MsM:up:

You'll need a ZoneInfo in each Zone and just change the LocationName in the Zoneinfo actor properties, or for volumes the same is in the Volume properties.

As for xrain emitter, not sure, sorry.

    Done.

You can do both with a volume.

I don't have time right now for an "extensive" answer....sorry.

But the tag is where you'd put the norain...for both the xweathereffect and the volumes. And the locationId is where you name the zone/area.

grendel keep does use an xweather effect, actually. the xemmitter is actually for the rain drops on the ground. check my map out, i have the same thing.
