    help, tex/light baking in 3ds max

    hola, I am trying very hard to learn how to bake textures and lighting and all that **** on meshes I make in 3ds max so I dont worry about ued uglifying my mesh. could someone get on messenger tommorow with me and help me through this? It would be apreaciated greatly. oh this is 3ds max 5.1 btw.

        ah ok, got it. I've been through the vtm's on maya but I guess I havnt completely gotten through the 3ds max stuff, I've done things in diffrent areas : / I'll just go through all of them again consectutively to make sure i dont miss anything. btw the baking texture thing I mean like complete, with lighting the specular map everything, I want the static mesh to look exactly like it does in 3ds max when it gets imported into unreal ed.

              WOOT!!! Just made my first baked static mesh with lighting burned into it and completely custum textures in it (skined) i'm proud of myself . Now, on to figure out how to get the specular map on I guess. cheers everybody :up:
