    it could use maps that have zones set up, so its like

    for mass kills, or even just two or more

    scrollbar at top good idea. or maybe, wat if it generated text to a scroolbar, and then the text-to-audio feature thing kicked in and spoke it? that would be a weird voice, but thats the easiest way i can see it to working.

    btw, DEFINATLY have a way to turn it off. or at least the voices, cause i guarntee u that someone is going to get ****** off at it.

    great idea tho.

      Well, maybe it could be made to recognize certain gun areas, landmarks etc. like, if the flak is the only gun in the room, then it would be refered to as the "flak room" and/or meshes, possibly random changes. Also if the map has zone support, use those names.

      and then the text-to-audio feature thing kicked in and spoke it?

          Not would every name, and taunt have to be recorded, every name + 's. that's what, 36 names already, plus all thaunts + 20(ish) that's 50 voice packages, in 1 download. it would be a lot of trouble, but i could do it (record it at least) but i have no idea how u coul dget the commentataor to say it at the correct time.
          also when u use an ion painter, the amount of deaths, it would be like 6 commemtators saying slightly different things all at teh same time. :bulb:

          Couldn't you just dump it as a string to the chat, and allow the TexttoSpeech thing that came with UT2004 to talk, instead of using massive amounts of bulky .wav files?

            Is it okay if I include this feature in my MOD? Ill give credit to the original idea creator, and if anyone has a list of comments, I can record them and make the voice pack.

                  You could even have the option of putting special "intercom" actors in a level so that the sound radiates from certain places!

                    I dunno about the voices coming from certain spots. That can get way too difficult to create, I'm sure.
                    But it would be better if the commentators only commented on you and the people you killed, otherwise there's too much talking.

                    'Oh, a marvelous Hat Trick by the Read Team!'
                    'Looks like the Blue Team has some catching up to do!'
                    That'd be cool.

                      If it does get made, I would imagine it'd be client based, like, it only commentated on the stuff you do. It would be a bit challenging to do it for every player.
