It's meant to be a remote-controlled Translocator beacon, not a remote-controlled "super-weapon". I'll make the damage an option (eventually), so if you want a more powerful Spider, you can have it.
The Spider is considerably difficult to hit (being much smaller and a little faster than a player), so if it gets killed, that's the player's shortcoming.

I'm not sure E (Use) can be overridden by the Pawn - it seems to be built into PlayerController. At the moment I have Crouch/Duck make the Spider fall down (jumping down without hitting another wall is difficult), so it could use that. This isn't likely to make it into the first release (depending on when I am able to release it.)
BTW the screen shots cant you send them to a Cd then when you go to the enternet place just send it over and such....it should work^^

Thanks, actually the Spidering is working rather well already. I started messing around with gravity the other day, but haven't got far. I might look into that SDK thing when I get the chance.

Bugs - none that I know of.
Progress - mostly complete, but without most of the optional ideas.
To do - just the ideas (i.e. configurable damage, configurable health, bungie, etc.). I'd upload it, but I can't/shouldn't from here (getting the files here isn't the problem.)
I haven't done the readme yet, but when I do, you'll all be in it.

I can imagine a scene where Remus is patrolling the halls in CTF-Face3 while that spider is slowly crawling on the wall. Remus turns around because he heard something and doesnt see the spider. It's on the roof right above him. Then Remus shrugs it off and continues patrolling the hall. After remus exits, the spider mine continues going around the entire base. The spider reaches where the flag is and there's 5 soldiers gathered in a circle discussing plans on attacking team Blue's base. Unfortunately, they red team doesnt know they are being spied on. So, the controller of the spider warns the others and they move to their positions to repel the attack. And then, the blue team succeeds in defending their base. Then 1 of the red soldiers was like, "How the hell did they figure out their plans?!" Then the spider walks behind him and he turns around and says, "Oh shh.." That's when the spider jumps up and explodes.
its avarage for what im use to wathing from these 3rd rate movies
anyway he just got to get the files to a com with enternet and write the readme then upload it to my website i just made for it
and BAM beta in no time

Every key on my keyboard is used, and then some (key combos.) :haha:
The damage and health aren't configurable yet, but they will be.
Crouch/duck will most likely trigger the bungie.

What should this clamp look like? I'm no modeller...

What purpose does that serve? If grenades are stuck to you, you're as good as dead anyway...

fire= deploy TransSpider or normal beacon, depending on current mode. If a beacon/Spider is active, recalls it (Spiders explode when recalled.)
alt-fire= while a beacon is active, teleport, otherwise toggle Spider/normal TL mode.
q= control the TransSpider, or view camera as usual if in normal TL mode.
w/a/s/d/space= movement as usual while controlling Spider
And eventually (not yet):
c/Duck= activate bungie if on a ceiling. While bungie is active, extend its length (go down)
maybe ThrowWeapon or some other unused key= deactivate bungie and fall to ground.

the grenade are like normal spiders with nades on them...gives a bigger boom
so heres an idea for a later version
ALLOWS TO STICK TO PPL AND VEHICLES
because the normal spider mines blow up with contact to people or vehicles no 1 has really seen what they do when they dont explode
because off the unseen hooks in there leggs
(uses geco[or wahtever that lizzard is]hairs from there feel it allows them to grab onto anything)
allowing the transpider to ride piggy back on an enemy
vehicle or player or an ally vehicle or player
this allows it to move around faster
it also allows the funny sceens of the enemy shooting 1 of there ally's to death to kill the spider on there head
his is an option to add^^

Actually, the TransSpider doesn't blow up on contact with people/vehicles. I may be able to allow spidering on people/vehicles...

Attached to a vehicle, yes. Spider Mines have a ground speed of ~500 UU/sec. Normal players are slower, at ~400 UU/sec.
