So i had this crazy idea the other day, so i said, what the heck, ima put my noob scripting skills to the test. i thought it would be fun to have the instagib secondary fire put up the shieldgun shield. It's all coded, i just need to fine tune it. I wanted to post here before i release anything because 1) i want to make sure this hasnt already been done, and 2) to get opinions/suggestions etc. the PorcSSR, as i'm calling it, uses the model and pickup from the shieldgun. primary fire shoots instagib beam, i slightly increased rate of fire just for the hell of it. the secondary fire is the shield, with a slightly increased radius. the gun has limited ammo; primary fire uses 1 ammo, and secondary depletes 15 when you activate it, and then 1 per second thereafter. the ammo regenerates, i'm still trying to find the perfect rate to keep the shield from being abused. the shield deflects the gib beam, just as it deflects shock beams. i plan on reskinning the shieldgun and the shield itself. feedback appreciated!:up:
