It's probably my crappy sblive acting up but the helicopters don't make any noise?
Oh and the call for prayer sound, next time you use it then try to play it full length instead of only the first sentence repeating. It's not really that long and it would sound much nicer.
Its a great map. Take it from someone who was there on October 3rd 1993 that anything made of metal had been stripped away and sold for food (power lines, radio antenna, siding, pipes, fences). Anything wood was burned coking food(telephone poles, interior walls, etc) . So basically Mogoudishu was a bunch of gutted concrete buildings with very few exceptions. Also there were alot of destroyed military vehicles and even jets lining the sides of the roads. I wish I couldve sent you some pictures. Overall its a great map. BTW the movie wasnt very accurate either.

That's what I heard ... that, and the Pentagon had people on the set censoring it as the film was shot. But I never even bothered seeing the flick, so what do I know? Except that this map, considered in complete isolation to the movie and the actual event (which is the only way I can evaluate it), absolutely R0XXoRdS!!!
Besides, if any map could really, accurately simulate a war, I don't think I would like it very much .... But as is, it's all fun!
Thanks Revpolar, that's one hell of a compliment, thank you. Yeah, I often wonder how I would view the whole war game scene if I were ever to be unfortunate enough to experience the real thing first hand. I know that my few experiences off real violence in the past have always deeply effected me.
I do have a fascination for trying to create things that affect people on an emotional level though. But I guess that's what all forms creativity try to do.

Who cares, the map ROCKS and it has nothing to do with the movie, it has to do with the fact it's a really awesome map!

Well I watched the movie and at first was very disappointed by the inaccuracy but thought about it this way. The actual events would not have been very entertaining. Actually it would have enraged the entire world to see what actually happened. So watching as entertainment I liked it.
